Christians Together in Shepton Mallet

Jane and Gerald Andrews have been  the link parishioners for Christians Together in Shepton Mallet for the last six years. Representatives from the congregations of Salvation Army, SS Peter and Paul, Baptist, Methodist and St Michael’s try to work and pray together to demonstrate our Christianity through our actions.
We have ecumenical study groups in Advent and Lent and Baptist minister Graham Dart has organised both the Sonrise Service early on Easter Sunday and the Christmas tree festival.
The Coffee and Conversation morning that runs on the first Wednesday of each month in St. Michael’s Parish Room at 10.30am is a good opportunity to meet up midweek for a chat and a cuppa.
In addition CTSM are involved in practical activities to benefit the local community.
We also collaborate for Women’s World Day of Prayer each March and provide contributions for a baked goods stall for Christian Aid week.  Please make sure that you look out for the CTSM  tent at The Collett Park Festival where we will be providing refreshments and fellowship while raising money for charity through voluntary donations.
Everyone is welcome to join us, please do!
